Managing Director and Founder of Brooklands Commercial Finance
Originating from the Midlands, he studied law at Leeds before starting a career as a Management Consultant. He worked for international organisations in Europe, America, and Africa, advising on profit improvement projects. He made a career move at the turn of the millennium and entered the Commercial Finance market. He founded Brooklands in 2003 and has overseen its growth through the latest recession and beyond.
Outside of work, Malcolm enjoys cooking BBQs in all weathers and travelling.
Jack grew up in Surrey and holds both the Diploma in Professional Financial Advice and the Certificate in Mortgage and Insurance Advice.
As Operations Director, Jack leads the firm’s compliance framework, oversees staff development, manages lender panel relationships, and supports the management of day‑to‑day operations. He also manages complex residential and commercial transactions, applying a structured, solutions‑focused approach to deliver strong outcomes for clients.
Outside of work, Jack enjoys travelling, playing golf, and riding his motorbike.
Youcef was born in Houston, Texas, before spending a couple of years in Alaska. He moved to the UK over 20 years ago and has spent the last 15 in the Financial Services sector. He specialises in residential and BTL mortgages, along with protection. Youcef’s aim is to provide the best products for his clients and to make the journey for them as smooth and trouble-free as possible. His job satisfaction comes from helping clients buy their homes and acquire investment properties in order to build their portfolios.
During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, watching football and travelling.
Syeda grew up in Pakistan and moved to the UK 15 years ago. She graduated from Middlesex University with a master’s degree. Syeda has extensive experience of working with major banks like HSBC, Nationwide, and Yorkshire Building Society.
She is CeMAP qualified. She specialises in residential and buy-to-let mortgages.
Syeda is a mother of two boys, and most of her time outside of work is spent with her family. In her free time, she likes to go for a swim and meet up with friends for coffee.
Lenka was born and raised in the Czech Republic. She completed her Mortgage Advisor (CeMAP) qualifications in 2017 and her Equity Release Advisor exams in 2019, and since then has arranged both residential and commercial transactions for her clients.
When not at work, Lenka enjoys swimming, travelling, reading, and eating out.
Andre has a wealth of financial experience, having started his career with some of the major banks, more recently working as a broker helping business clients secure the right finance for their particular project or requirement.
Andre enjoys watching his rugby club, Harlequins FC, for which he played for over 15 years, travelling, walking his dogs, and throwing on a vinyl record or two.
Raised in New Milton, Alice started her working life with a local surveying company before obtaining her Business and Administration qualification.
Alice joined The Mortgage Explorer in 2017 as an administrator and has successfully completed her CeMAP qualifications.
Alice advises clients on residential and buy–to–let mortgages, along with protection. She also produces Mortgage Capacity Reports on behalf of solicitors and clients for financial remedies.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and two dogs, especially if it involves partaking in a glass or two of red wine.
Natasha is based in Dorset and looks after clients across the UK. With over a decade of experience in complex residential and buy-to-let lending, she specialises in sourcing tailored finance solutions to meet a broad range of client needs.
Having worked with everyone from first-time buyers to experienced property landlords expanding their portfolios, Natasha understands the challenges and expectations at every stage of the property journey. She also has experience in commercial finance, supporting clients with more complex funding requirements.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Natasha in the gym or out walking the dogs. She has a passion for travel and for spending time with her family.
Peter is based in Yorkshire and looks after our clients in the north of the UK. He is a seasoned commercial finance professional with over 30 years’ experience of sourcing financial solutions for clients.
Having worked in the banking industry both here and abroad, and having been the MD of his own successful property finance company, Peter understands the needs and expectations of both developers and investors.
Out of the office, you can usually find Peter on the tennis court or golf course: “I’m still a work in progress in these areas, so I need lots of practice.”
Julie is based in East Sussex and has been an Insurance Adviser since 2016. She has in-depth knowledge, ensuring she provides the best protection solution for her clients. Julie specialises in Residential Mortgage Protection, Life Insurance, Critical Illness, and Income Protection. She is happy to provide friendly, professional advice to clients living anywhere in England.
In her spare time, Julie enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, walking, and tending her garden – always with her Labrador beside her.

Kelvin was born in Hong Kong and moved to the UK over ten years ago. He graduated from the University of Southampton with a degree in economics.
He is CeMAP qualified and specialises in complex residential and BTL mortgages for foreign nationals.
Outside of work, Kelvin enjoys various sports, including badminton and table tennis.
Laura was born in Colombia and moved to the UK over 15 years ago and graduated in both International Finance before obtaining a master’s degree in Financial Services Management. During the last seven years, Laura has worked as both a Commercial and Residential Mortgage Adviser. She now specialises in Equity Release and Later Life Lending.
During her free time, Laura enjoys keeping fit and training for and running marathons.
Born in Saudi Arabia, he moved to the UK over 20 years ago and graduated with a degree in Accounting and Finance. With more than a decade of experience in the banking industry, he’s developed a strong foundation in financial services. He thrives on tackling difficult situations and finding practical solutions.
He is a dedicated fan of UFC, Mixed Martial Arts, and Cricket.
Tony has over 40 years of experience in the commercial finance sector and has worked in the broker sector for over 35 years. He is based in Surrey, and his clients are predominantly based in the South East of England. With his vast experience and knowledge, he covers all aspects of commercial finance. There are very few challenging deals that Tony has not already come across and resolved.
In his spare time, Tony enjoys competing in golf tournaments and improving his handicap. He also enjoys spending time with his family and travelling to warmer climates.
She was born in Southampton and has spent most of her life in the Bournemouth area.
Sophie will often be the first point of contact for our clients in the south.

Born and raised in Italy, Belinda relocated to the UK after graduating from university, and she has since built a wealth of experience in administration.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for organisation, Belinda manages all of the administration and is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of daily office life.
Outside of work, she enjoys photography, travel, and exploring new destinations.
Maria was born in Albania and raised in Greece. She moved to the UK seven years ago.
She has studied Business Management in Greece and AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) in the UK.
In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, cooking— in particular Moussaka and Baklava—going to the gym, and spending time with her family.
After a successful career in investment banking, Steve qualified as a mortgage adviser in 2004 and, shortly afterwards, set up his own company, specialising in residential and buy-to-let mortgages, along with mortgage protection products.
He recently decided to retire from advising and work with Brooklands CF on a consultancy basis, having formed a strong relationship with them over the last ten years.
His interests include golf, tennis, and rugby (watching!), along with fine wine and dining. He hopes to be able to spend more time on the golf course going forward to reduce his handicap, whilst at the same time helping to continue the growth and success of Brooklands CF.
